Dude,

I am a fan from way back. Since I live in Asia, that means our PS2's are Region 2/3 and play only NTSC J discs. How come Capcom Japan won't release the second compilation here? Especially since it will have that gameplay/tutorial video. This sucks. Now either I have to buy a second PS2 (NTSC U/C of course) or pirate a copy just to play arcade perfect ST. No way in hell will I buy an obsolete Xbox just to play this game.

480p will make the LCD/Plasma crowd happy and help kill the lag associated with cheaper brand TVs and their internal scalers.

240p would make little old me and the 4 other people in the world still using RGB CRT 15KHz monitors happy too. Scanlines are so purdy.... :)

Mitch: Anniversary Edition is different and buggy.

My team wrote the Xbox 360 compatibility department about 3 times to see what we have to do to make an xbox1 game work in 360 and they never wrote us back.

The game does support 480p. It doesn't seem to be filtered, but I don't know exactly which method is used. Exactly no one involved except me even looks out for input lag, and I don't have a way to even measure it. Hopefully this won't be a problem though, as it seems ok so far.

Anniversay Edition is broken, and many people are complaining about it. See JChensor's latest blog entry:
http://jchensor.blogspot.com/

Arcade perfect ST with VS mode is what the world has been craving for a very long time. Dave Sirlin, you and the team deserve a medal. Someone should make release day a public holiday. Or at the very least make ST a compulsory class in high school from now on.

My one and only desire (which itself is not very important in the grand scheme of things) is that the game offers low-res progressive scan display modes without filtering. Interlaced and filtered output makes for bleeding eyes. Hi-res progressive scan options might also be smart as the world moves to LCD TVs, and fighting game lag from upscaling sucks (see the Evo East near-disaster that caused such a fuss).

But even if it is interlaced and ugly I'll still buy it. I'm not that overly dogmatic. :)

I agree with reply 16. Jim Miles) - Capcom really does need more people like Sirlin on their staff. I will finally have a real reason to switch my MAME cabinet off.

I already have SSF2T because of the Anniversary collection, but I'd love to play Strider again and a bunch of the other games. And the inclusion of some of the features you talk about make the release more enticing.

I look forward to the collection's release.

"The game also features almost 30 minutes of tutorial videos on Super Street Fighter 2 Turbo. Special thanks to ST player NKI for his help performing moves and combos and in editing. The videos start by explaining and demonstrating the concept of controlling space, the central concept of Street Fighter. They go on to explain everything from how to perform a fireball to 2in1s, meaty attacks, reversals, and even advanced concepts like “button up” reversals, “piano” inputs, and safe jumps."

I just came!

This is the kind of thing that blaaaayyyyytantly wouldn't have made it into the game if you weren't producer, Capcom need more guys like you.

Is there any chance of a 360 version (in the apparent absence of a U.K. Xbox version), or is that just my/Gamefaq's wishful thinking?
